The history of Zedda Piras is closely linked to that of his native land, Sardinia. Born in 1854 in the area of Cagliari at the initiative of Francesco Zedda, the company remained in family ownership until the early nineties. Initially focused on wines, the company soon expanded its activities in distillates, alcohol and liquors.
In 1994 Zedda Piras became part of Sella & Mosca, later acquired by Gruppo Campari. At the end of the nineties the company adopted innovative working technologies, without ever changing the traditional production process.
